Ferrite absorbs and contracts the mushroom magnetic flux field seen around the magnet pole face. (See the Perendev section) Purchase ferrite tubes that will fit your size magnets. A larger magnet diameter has better effects that can be seen with magnetic film. Caution should be used as ferrite is very brittle.
